Cave is thrilled to welcome 33 BELOW, OB:VERSE & NO TOOLS to the Galatos Basement on Saturday 1st May for a special night of breakbeats, bass, and underground heavers.
We’re expecting this showcase of liquid, 140, jungle and original NZ DnB to fill up fast. Don’t miss out.
33 BELOW
Growing up in small town Martinborough, electronic producer, Jack Laven aka 33 Below, started playing around with music software, Ableton, as a new creative outlet. With an ear for lush, ethereal sounds as well as punchy, hard hitting baselines & glossy synthesisers, 33 Below has carved his own unique sound that has been supported by the likes of artists such as Conducta, Benee & LSB.
OB:VERSE
Ob:verse is one of Auckland’s most exciting liquid producers and DJ. Joel has shown a stunning trajectory throwing down at Northern Bass this year – adding to his reputation as a top-shelf support act for internationals like Technimatic, Artificial Intelligence & Kanine. We can’t wait to hear Joel heat Galatos up.
NO TOOLS
Luke Scott aka No Tools is a chippie who had his work tools nicked. Insurance didn’t pay out, so he turned his long time passion – 140, jungle and DnB – into a heaving DJ project. Luke prides himself on playing songs you’ve never heard before, and has made an art of moving between genres without you noticing. This is one rude boy you don’t want to miss.
